About Kirsten

Kirsten Shannon is a warm, experienced clinical psychologist who takes a practical, skills-based approach to therapy. She’s passionate about helping clients build the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and thrive—not just in therapy, but in their everyday lives.

 

Kirsten holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and brings years of knowledge and experience to her work. She has a special interest in treating anxiety—including generalised anxiety, panic disorder, and social anxiety—and works with both individuals and couples. She also supports women facing fertility and perinatal challenges, as well as those navigating relationship issues, low self-esteem, or depression.

 

Kirsten has always been committed to staying current with effective, evidence-based therapy. For over 17 years, she worked closely with the University of Sydney, where she eventually led the Clinical Services team for the Gamble Aware program at the Brain and Mind Centre.
